Links to Useful Sites & Forums Used for Ideas and Help

These are some of the forums and reference sites I have used for inspiration to progress my Railways.
By asking questions on a forum I usually get some guidance if I cannot see a solution to a problem.

Large Scale Forums;

Garden Railway Forum

An online International community modelling outdoor and or garden railways where all scales and gauges are welcome.

G Scale Central

A UK based garden railway forum that relates to anything to do with G Scale Train Railways also known as Large Scale or just Garden Railways.  Their aim is to give all G Scale Railway fans a place to chat, post pictures and find help with all things G Scale Railway related.

Large Scale Central

A US based predominantly dedicated to anything to do with G Scale Trains/Railways.

Other Modeler's Railways;

The Sandstone & Termite Railway

The Sandstone & Termite is an impressive 45 mm gauge garden railway situated in Loftus, Sydney, Australia. All of the locos are battery powered and radio controlled using 2.4Ghz systems, all the stock has been scratchbuilt.  It is an interesting layout with spectacular scenery and there are plenty of handy tips and ideas for beginners and experienced modellers alike.

Peckforton Light Railway

A Blog that describes the ongoing development of a 16mm scale 45mm gauge garden railway situated in the North West of England, UK from 2004 to the present day.   A very informative blog with loads of tips and "how I did this" posts.

 Reference Sites;

Family Garden Trains

An informative site with a load of links to articles, I particularly like "The Primer Articles Section" for the helpful articles.
