Originally they were a gawdy canary yellow, the same as the picture below, that just did not please my eye.

So I repainted them to a colour more attune to Australian rolling stock.

I used spray pack paints that I bought from an auto parts store, they are cheap but do a good job the only downfall being that the colour selection is limited, I generally only use whatever few colours are available but I think I achieve good results with them
The colours I used for this paint was;
- Grey Primer = all over
- Chassis = Satin Black
- Bodywork = Indian Red
- Roof = Machinery Grey with a dusting of Matt Black to simulate soot
- Clerestory Windows = Brunswick Green
These coaches are pulled by an LGB 20231“Shorty”
2-4-0 steam loco that is called "Peanuts".
