Wooden Flat Wagons

I bought some wooden flat wagons from Ebay seller "Pasidump" they lend themselves to "kit-bashing" quite well.

He has gondola type and stake type wagons available built on the same chassis.

So far I have used them for the base of my Sugar Cane Bins and  Sugar Cane Whole Stick Wagons.

“Pasidump” Flat Car Package Consists of:

·         1. X Pre-assembled Frame & Deck

·         2. X Coupler Pockets mounted on wooden blocks

·         4. X Coil Spring Journals

·         4. X Wheels

·         2. X Stainless Steel Axles

·         14. X Rivets

·         1. X Fig 8 Link & 2. X Link Pins

This is how you will receive the package

All the necessary holes are pre-drilled at proper locations so that the Journals with the Rivets could just be pushed in. The frame is already glued to the deck.

Wheels should be slid onto the Stainless Steel Axles, and after ascertaining the appropriate width checked with the track, they should be secured using Super Glue.

Glue the Coil Spring Journals with the Rivets in place keeping the Wheels and Axel assembly in between.

Attach the Coupler Pockets (Already Mounted on Wooden Blocks) using Super Glue, to the front and rear beams, so that their height matches the Coupler height of existing Rolling Stock.

The Flat Car is now ready to roll.
