Ringbalin Railway Mk1 Part 2

June - December 2011;

An extension was under taken that added bridges and a yard.

This involved;

  • Making a table in one corner of a BBQ area and running lines through it to for a yard.

  • Crossing a path to the clothes line.

  • To get cross the backyard from the pergola yard 4 bridges were made with one being a lift out bridge made to get the lawn mower through as the bridges divided the yard and cut off access the the shed door.
  • The "Tea Tree Run" was made dual track which eliminate the need for the Y points.

The line was ballasted with crushed terracotta tile.

The dry creek bed bridges were made and landscaping done

A low trestle led across a garden bed into the pergola yard
Low Trestle to get line through the garden and into Pergola
